According to The Daily Mail, the replica was supposed to be displayed at the Royal gift shop inside the couple's official residence, but it has mysteriously disappeared from the collection. Sources reportedly said that the Duchess of Cambridge may have been the reason behind the missing engagement ring.

The original ring was once Princess Diana's, Prince William's famous mother. The replica was supposed to be part of what the manufacturer calls "Princess Diana jewelry collection" and was even sported on the website, but now that it has been banned from being sold to Kate Middleton fans, the manufacturer, Bill Skinner Studio, is reportedly confused.
A representative told the outlet, "We do make the ring but they don't want us to supply it to the gift shop." However, a miniature version, which is part of a ring charm, is still available for the many people who want to feel the Princess Kate mood.
While the original ring is very special to Princess Kate, a Kensington Palace insider said the royals aren't just against the idea of selling a copy of something that the princess "wears every day" but they are also not for selling "cheap copies of Diana's engagement ring."
Meanwhile, rumors about the Duchess expecting baby number three continue to roam social media. The rumors imply that the she is about three months pregnant and she's not just expecting one but two bundles of joy to be Prince George and Princess Charlotte's siblings.
