Kate Middleton News: Duchess Reveals First Christmas Gift to the Queen
Years after Kate Middleton ascended to royalty after marrying Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge recently shared what she gave Queen Elizabeth during her first Christmas with England's Majesty.
According to E! News, the 24-year-old Duchess said in an interview for the documentary "Our Queen at Ninety" that she was worried about what to get for a person who doesn't really need any more gifts. She then decided that she "make her [Queen] something" instead of dropping by the royals shop for a piece of jewelry.
"I decided to make my granny's recipe of chutney. I was lightly worried about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table," she said.

Middleton tied the knot with Prince William back in 2011 and her first Christmas with the royal family was probably one of the most special moments she could recall. Not only did she spend time at Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham House but the Queen even displayed her home-made gift at the table for the guests to have a taste.
The Duchess of Cambridge went on to share how the Queen's move of putting her chutney gift on the table the next day was something that reminded her of the aged royal's thoughtfulness. "I think it just shows her thoughtfulness, really, and her care in looking after everybody," Middleton said.
Despite rumors last year that Middleton had some issues with the Queen, it seems all is well between the Duchess and her in-law as all she had to say about the 90-year-old royalty were good things.
As for the things that make her the Queen that people around Europe and across the globe know her for, Middleton said she's very "generous" and does not force other people to adapt to her beliefs and outlooks on life. Middleton sees her grandma-in-law as a person who guides her gently as she goes through the life of a noble.
