Kate Winslet Divorce and How it Led to Her 'Soul Mate'

In her most recent interview, Kate Winslet has spoken out about finding herself and how it led her to the man of her dreams.

Kate Winslet has revealed that the past few years have given her plenty of inspiration, but most of all, it is her "soul mate" that has given her a fresh look at life. That man is Rocknroll, whom Winslet married in December.

The couple met in August of 2011 while vacationing on Necker Island. Born Ned Abel Smith, Rocknroll is the nephew of Richard Branson and works for Virgin Galactic. In the April's Harper Bazaar UK edition, Winslet explains "how she found the man she clearly regards as her soulmate." She also spoke about her career and how past roles have shaped her as an actress.

"I've really learned a great deal about myself, in the last four years in particular," the 37-year-old told the magazine. "I think I can see more clearly now-about how the pattern of past experiences has shaped who I am, and the characters I have played- and I'm grateful for that."

Winslet added that maturity has allowed her the ability to carry more of a burden than she might have been capable of when she was younger.

One of the actress' most memorable roles was in "Titanic" but she has also starred in popular films that include "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Revolutionary Road," and of course "The Reader," for which she won her first Oscar.

"I have so much more material to draw on for work- rubble, bricks- and I know I can carry it now," Winslet said, explaining how she has matured. "I'm not going to drop it, and if I do, I'll sift through it. Does that make any sense at all? Probably not."
