The couple was married Saturday at Château de Bellerive during a private ceremony that was attended by friends and family. Spears, 25, converted to Muslim just before the ceremony and changed her name to Princess Salwa Aga Khan, according to Vogue.

The couple's engagement was announced just four months ago. Spears wore a traditional, cream-colored sari designed by couturier Manav Gangwani. Spears shared her thanks for Gangwani's contribution via her Twitter account. She also thanked Naomi Campbell for introducing the pair.

"Thank you @ManavGangwani for the beyond-gorgeous sari! And thank you @NaomiCampbell for the introduction Xx," she wrote Monday.

Ganwani also shared pictures of his design on his Twitter account, depicting Spears sitting next to her new husband on a bench in a beautiful garden scene.

Prior to the wedding, Spears shared her enthusiasm about the big day.

"Thank you all for the kind tweets! We're very excited! :)" she wrote on her Twitter account.

Spears joins other non-royals who have met their prince, including Kate Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge, and Kate Donaldson now Princess Mary of Denmark.
