'King's Quest Chapter 2' Release Date: 'Rubble Without a Cause' Releasing Worldwide on Dec. 16
"King's Quest – Chapter 2" fans have been looking forward to the release date of their favorite game, and finally Sierra Games has announced that they will conduct a global launch for "Rubble Without a Cause" on Dec. 16.
Sierra Games also said "King's Quest: Rubble Without a Cause" will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC via Steam when it is released worldwide on Dec. 16. North America, however, will have an earlier taste of the game because it will be available for PS3 and PS4 on the afternoon of Dec. 15, according to Game Zone.
Sierra Games released a trailer announcing the official release date of the second chapter of "King's Quest." Linsey Rostal, a producer at game studio The Odd Gentlemen, confirmed that the next three installments of the game will be released in 2016, iDigital Times reports.

"It will follow a relatively similar [release] schedule," Rostal said at PAX Prime. "We're making these as we go, and we're a small team of about 20 or so people."
The Odd Gentlemen's strategy of release allows players to busy themselves with the first part of the game while the next is still being developed. That way, players will be able to provide them with feedback, which in turn could be used to further improve the next episodes, the report explains.
Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus members will be entitled to a free download of "King's Quest – Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember" for the whole month of December. The first chapter of the game can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store on the PS4, the report details.
Players will be transported back to King Graham's first test as Daventry's ruler in "King Quest – Chapter 2: Rubble Without a Cause." The kingdom will be held hostage by a horde of goblins. Graham, albeit unprepared, will be forced to embark on a dangerous mission to rescue his people and ultimately prove that he is worthy to be called a ruler.
