Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian News: Khloe Discusses Lakers' Star Road to Recovery

Good news for Lamar Odom fans, Khloe Kardashian revealed recently that the former Lakers forward is now out of all the hospital machines, a surprising yet fortunate development after he almost died of drug and alcohol-related causes in a Nevada brothel barely a month ago.

Kardashian talked to a group of reporters and entertainment media on Tuesday during the promotion of her book titled "Strong Looks Better Naked," which according to her is a self-help book focusing on the body, mind, and soul.

Talking to Terri Seymour of Extra, the 31-year-old Kardashian said that every day has been a better day for her estranged husband. "He's definitely doing better which is awesome. He's off of all machines. He is alive on his own and no machines are helping him, which is great," she added. The member of the famous reality TV Kardashian family, though, mentioned that Odom will have to undergo several cognitive and physical therapies to fully recover.

The former NBA star will soon face a lot of questions and uncertainties when he fully recovers, but at this point, all he has to think about is how to keep up with everything, especially with things falling apart. He even was reported to have fallen into a coma and his kidneys failing at one point.

The only thing that's positive for the 36-year-old right now is that he's making definite progress. He is currently getting all the necessary treatment at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, the same medical facility where he underwent two emergency surgeries a couple of weeks ago.

But it looks like Odom isn't short of support. Several news outlets reported that Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim and Kourtney visited the former Laker at the hospital, in time for his birthday, where there was a small gathering in an area inside the Medical Center prepared by the staff to celebrate the occasion.
