LeBron Headband Receives Credit for Miami Heat's NBA Finals 2013 Game 6 Win Over San Antonio Spurs (VIDEO)

LeBron James' headband is getting all the attention following the Miami Heat's dramatic Game 6 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night in the NBA Finals 2013.

James is renowned for wearing a headband during games, and although he has been seen donning various designs through the season, he is always seen with one when on court.

However, on Tuesday night the Miami Heat superstar lost his headband, and the change up of headgear saw Miami's fortunes turn on their head.

Coming into the fourth quarter, the Spurs were 10 points clear and big favorites to maintain that lead and close out the series 4-2 to win the title.

However, with his side facing heartbreak in the win or go home match up, James lost his famous headband with just under 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. On the same very play that he lost his headgear in he slammed a dunk, and went on to take apart the Spurs defense over the rest of the game.

James finished the contest with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, as the Heat scored a last gasp three pointer to take the game to overtime, before eventually completing their amazing comeback, winning 103-100 after a single overtime period.

''I don't even remember the play much,'' James said. ''I was just focused on the job, the task at hand, and just trying to be aggressive, just trying to figure out ways I could help the team get back into the game. And you know, I guess the headband was the least of my worries at that point.''

James has in the past stopped mid-play to pick up his headband after it had been knocked off, but this time he played on without it and some are now suggesting the change in headgear changed the game.

''It was by far the best game I've ever been a part of,'' James said.

The Heat's win ties the series 3-3, and the NBA Finals 2013 Game 7 will take place on Thursday night in the winner takes all decider.
