'Legends of Tomorrow' Episode 5 Spoilers: Rip Gives Sara A Side Mission
The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 returns this week with an all-new exciting episode that will reveal the outcome of what happened in the previous episode. Meanwhile, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) will put Sara Lance's (Caity Lotz) life in danger when the time-traveller sends the latter on a secret one-man mission.
In last week's episode, "White Knights," Dr.Stein (Victor Garber), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) got captured by the Soviets and was thrown into a Russian gulag (a labor camp controlled by the Soviets).
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the upcoming episode titled "Fail-Safe," Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) will round up the remaining Legends to embark on a risky mission to free their comrades from captivity. The crime guru will come up with an elaborate escape plan which includes him going undercover.

In the promo video, the team can be seen preparing for the big rescue mission which will be spearheaded by Snart who is wearing a Soviet officer's uniform.
But something very intriguing was hinted in the teasers. The TFC summary said that Rip will call upon Sara to do a "secret side mission" which could severely hurt the team.
The highlight revealed just what this mission is going to be: kill Dr. Stein. As it turns out, the nuclear physicist's arrest means that Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) is now one step closer to creating his superweapon. In order for the future to be saved, Hunter will have to employ the lethal ability of the White Canary to take down Stein and prevent Savage from furthering his plan. But will she pull the trigger?
It appears that camaraderie will prevail in this episode as Sara appears to be distraught as she looks over her target.
