'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 1 Cast News: 'Suits' Star Joins Mashup Superhero Show
A new cast member will join the fray as the first season of DC TV and The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "Legends of Tomorrow" continues and also in the coming Season 2. For those who missed it, the network has announced that it has already given the green light to the show along with a slate of original programming titles like "The Flash," "The Arrow," "iZombie," just to name a few.
In the Legend's case, Entertainment Weekly said that actor Patrick J. Adams of "Suits" will be appearing as a DC Comics hero whose identity is yet to be unveiled. However, sources of the media outlet tipped that the "Orphan Black" actor's part will be that of a "fun character the fans will love."
Earlier rumors pointed out over at TVLine said about a "beloved superhero from the DC canon whose mysterious agenda serves as a launching off point for Season 2." And according to the EW report, Adam's alter ego will debut in the Season 1 finale airing this May 19 and continue to take part in the new installment.

Several speculations pointed out that it would probably be Booster Gold. A time-travelling hero, Gold happens to have ties to Rip Hunter in the comics. However, it has since been ruled out.
Official announcement to Adam's character will likely be dropped in the coming weeks before or during the Season 1 closer.
Regardless of which, "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 returns this week, Thursday, Apr. 7 with a brand new episode titled "Progeny." The synopsis from The Futon Critic says that Rip (Arthur Darvill) and the gang will travel to the future to take out a powerful enemy who is an ally of Savage (Casper Crump). However, the team will be torn into the doing the mission when they found out the truth about the person in question.
"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 airs every Thursdays, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
