Lenovo K4 Note Release Scheduled For Early January
Chinese technology company Lenovo is finally going to release a successor to their hit K3 Note device that launched in India in June 2015. According to NDTV Gadgets, the company is planning to launch the new mid-range phablet in the first week of January 2016. It's not official yet but the device is predicted to be called the K4 Note.
India Today noted that Lenovo Mobile India has already been marketing the device through teaser posts on social media under "A New Age Dawns" tagline and using the "#KillerNote" hashtag. Along with a stylized render of what looks to be a smartphone, the company tweeted, "Prepare for the dawn of the new #KillerNote." With that said, it seems like the upcoming handset will launch first in India.
There isn't really much information regarding the Lenovo K4 Note but as reported by Android Headlines, the mobile handset may include a brushed metal frame. If this rumor is true, it would show a great improvement over the plastic build sported by the current-generation K3 Note. There are also reports that the next phablet will come with a fingerprint scanner at the back, located under the primary camera. It's also said to be equipped with Dolby Atmos sound just like in the K3 Note.

It has still to be known how different the K4 Note will be from its predecessor. But the K3 Note sports a 5.5-inch Full HD screen. It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor and has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.
It can be expanded further via microSD card by up to 32 GB. The current device is also designed with dual-SIM support and runs with Android Lollipop with Vibe UI on top. As for its camera specifications, the K3 Note features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It's equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery.
