Lenovo K5 Note Launched in China; Specs Include 5.5-Inch Display, 3,500 mAh Battery, 2 GB of RAM
Chinese tech firm Lenovo has finally launched their new K5 Note in their homeland China. According to 9to5Google, the device arrived in the market in the same month that the Vibe K4 Note arrived in India. So while the Lenovo K4 Note is on sale on Amazon India, its successor smartphone is making its own noise in China.
As noted in GSM Arena, the Lenovo K5 Note comes with an all-metal body, which is different from its predecessor as it comes with a plastic build back cover. For now, it is only listed on the company's China website and as revealed, it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS display just like the one in the K4 Note. It also has a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.
Phone Radar also detailed that the smartphone is powered by a Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It is paired with 2 GB of RAM and comes with Mali-T860 GPU. As for its storage capacity, the device is equipped with 16 GB of internal storage. It can be expanded further up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. A notable thing about the K5 Note's hardware specs is that its RAM count is lower than the K4 Note which comes with 3 GB of RAM.

Moreover, the Lenovo K5 Note features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and phase detection, and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo's own Vibe UI on top and receives power by its 3,500 mAh nonremovable battery. The device, which measures 152.00 x 75.70 x 8.49mm (height x width x thickness), also supports dual SIM and accepts two Nano-SIM, as noted in Gadgets 360.
It comes with the basic connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, FM, 3G and 4G. It also features sensors including an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope. The Lenovo K5 Note costs ¥1,099 (approx $167) and will be available in China beginning February.
