Lenovo Lemon 3 Plus Update: Expected in MWC 2016, Specs Include 5.5-Inch Display, 13MP Camera
The 2016 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is coming up fast and several tech brands have already lined up their newest devices to show off during the event. Chinese multinational computer technology company Lenovo is joining in the hype by unveiling a fresh smartphone dubbed as the Lemon 3 Plus.
According to a report by Tech Times, the device is not the company's flagship smartphone. Instead, it is a mid-ranger and a plus version of the Lemon 3 that was released in China at the earlier part of the year. It also comes with features that are somewhat premium in level.
In a teaser photo shared by Lenovo India in Twitter, it showed the device being poured with a liquid metal indicating that it will be having an all-metal body for a premium look. The Lemon 3 had a poly-carbonate body. The caption of the tweet also says, "A gorgeous new device has been engineered from scratch to deliver the #Knockout punch. Brace yourselves."

As for the specs, ET Telecom detailed that the new handset will be sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080. It will be powered with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and will come with Adreno 405 GPU. It will also have 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory storage space which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.
Its camera features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. It will be running with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will have connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS and Bluetooth.
The battery capacity is not revealed yet but it is expected to be a big one since the big screen may easily drain out the power if it is going to be equipped with the same 2750 mAh battery.
More of the details of the Lenovo Lemon 3 Plus will be revealed sometime during Feb. 22 to 25 during the 2016 MWC.
