Lil' Kim Pregnant: Blonds Fashion Week 2014 Pregnancy Announcement - 'I'm So Excited'
Singer, Lil' Kim, has confirmed her pregnancy at a fashion event in New York City on Wednesday. The 39-year-old rapper is expecting her first child, but is keeping the baby's paternity private for the time being. Nevertheless, Lil' Kim is thrilled to become a mother.
"I'm so excited," she told Us Weekly at The Blonds Fashion Week after party on Wednesday, Feb. 12. "I'm a few months along, I can't wait to be a mom!"
Lil' Kim attended the fashion event in a tight-fitting colorful dress that predominantly displayed her growing baby bump. However, the rapper said pregnancy would not be slowing her down.

"I'm a mom, but I can turn it up a little," she said, according to Us Weekly. "I'm still going to work. I'm still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!"
Native to Brooklyn, New York, Lil' Kim was born Kimberly Jones. Her hit songs include "No Time," "Crush On You," Ladies Night," and "It's All About the Benjamins," among many others. The rapper rose to fame after performing a freestyle rap for The Notorious B.I.G. who signed her with the group Junior M.A.F.I.A. in 1995.
During Wednesday's after party, Lil' Kim took the stage to issue a tribute to the late B.I.G. ahead of her performance of "Lighters Up."
"It's also going to be Biggie's birthday and the anniversary of his death soon so we [as she pointed to her belly] love you," she told the crowd.
Meanwhile, Lil' Kim's fans are congratulating the rapper on her bundle of joy on the way on social media, including Duke who wrote, "Lil Kim looks GOOD! Congrats on being pregnant."
However, other online readers are not as supportive of the rapper's pregnancy, with many taking jabs at Lil' Kim's past with plastic surgery as well as her age. Moreover, Lil' Kim and rival rapper Nicki Minaj have a longstanding feud that has many fans divided online.
