Limerick Street Brawl Goes Viral: Men Were Settling a Score [WATCH VIDEO]

A video of a street brawl in Limerick went viral, capturing the fight between two men.

Limerick shoppers and pedestrians encountered a violent fight between two men in the city center. Commotion took place when the men were surrounded by people. Some pedestrians headed to doorways in order to avoid the fight. However, some entertained passerbys decided to film the happenings.

In the video, the men threw punches at each other, along with uppercuts and jabs, leaving the pedestrians covering to protect themselves. Their fight even made it to the main road, which caused some traffic as cars tried to pass around them.

One of the men was not wearing a shirt, provoking the other man to continue punching him. After being knocked down, the other man then took of his shirt before getting up to fight again. Some of the audience encouraged the fight including the one who filmed the video posted. The man behind the camera was head saying, "If ye are not [done], keep going." Other people were also seen pushing the men together to get them to continue fighting. One man was heard saying, "He's not done, go on in to him again, swing him".

It was suggested that the two were merely settling a score, ending the fight with blood and bruises all over their bodies. The video showed them walking away from each other after the fight. This is not the first brawl to happen in Limerick. Reports showed that two sisters were previously persecuted for fighting in the middle of the street. It was said that the fighting was due to a problems between two men.

Meanwhile, there has yet to be any official statement regarding the fight. It was said that an investigation is currently ongoing at Roxboro Road and Henry Street Garda Stations.
