MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Looming? 2015 Installment Now Has Major Discounts; Top 5 Features Apple Laptop Fans Expect From Upcoming Device
The much-awaited MacBook Pro 2016 could come anytime soon as discounts for last year's Apple laptop releases have been given by the tech company.
The two variants (13-inch and 15-inch) of the MacBook Pro 2015 and the 12-inch MacBook can now be purchased for less than $100 to $350.
This is good news to all Apple laptop fans who want to grab great deals from the company especially this summer. A complete list of the discounted prices are listed on Apple Insider's website.
With the coming of the brandnew MacBook Pro, many fans are expecting that it will be better than the earlier release and will provide more useful features. Below are the top things Apple fans expect from the upcoming device.
1. Better Design
The MacBook Pro 2016 will have a thinner and lighter design as well as a Rose Gold color. For better support, there could also be metal hinges on the device but with a thinner frame.
2. Bigger Storage
Current models are equipped with a 256GB flash storage with an option to upgrade it to 512GB or 1TB. MacWorld noted that a 2TB storage will certainly be a great offering for the new release.
3. Touchscreen Panel
The laptop is also rumored to come with a touchscreen panel included as part of its keyboard. 9to5Mac explained that the touchscreen buttons can be utilized to access applications installed on the laptop when one is not using the full screen mode. A tap of a button will instantly open an application.
4. Fingerprint Sensor and Ports
The laptop is also expected to have a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a feature which has been earlier introduced for iPhones, a USB Type-C port and Thunderbolt 3.0 compatible sockets.
5. Faster and More Efficient
The addition of graphics chips is targeted to improve the performance and speed of the laptop. A development in the speakers of the Pro can also be expected since Apple has introduced great speakers to its other releases like the 12-inch MacBook and even the iPad Pro.
Apple's MacBook Pro 2016 could be released in October, a month after the expected iPhone 7 release date. When it comes out of stores, the laptop could stick to the price range of the MacBook Pro which costs $1,099 for the basic model with no Retina feature while the 13-inch variant with Retina is set at $2,099.
