'Madden NFL 16' Week 15 Roster Update: Cardinals Rookie Gains Another Three in OVR
There are only a couple of days left in the regular season of the National Football League (NFL) and among the players who have made it big over the past week is David Johnson.
The Arizona Cardinals running back maximized his opportunities in the field as he led his team to a 40-17 victory over Philadelphia. According to EA Sports, he thrived to achieve a 187-yard run, three touchdowns, and was able to catch four passes for 42 yards in the game.
The outlet further states that his performance earned him an additional 3 points to his 77 overall rating (OVR). Aside from the additional points that he garnered, he has been tagged by some sports experts as one who can be in line for the Rookie of the Year award.

Johnson is only a rookie and he is already showing a lot of potential and drive, which is very much necessary for any NFL player who wants to make a name in the highly revered field.
Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers only proved that Johnson isn't a rookie to be forgotten. In a bewildering 38-8 win, he was able to gain 12 touches into 127 yards. More notably, he has gained his 13th touchdown in his first year with the Cardinals.
In a report by Sporting News, Johnson said, "This journey has a lot of ups and downs. It's a true blessing to continue to help out my team, get to the spot where we're at. It's very uplifting."
Once a "small-school" player from Northern Iowa and someone who didn't get too much attention compared to his teammates, he is gradually becoming a name that rings a bell each time the NFL is mentioned as early as now in his career.
The 24-year-old NFL star was drafted in the third round of the 2015 draft by the Cardinals and testifies that he enjoys his role in the game as a running back and receiver.
