'Major Crimes' Season 4 Episode 13 Spoilers: Squad Deals A Reality TV-Based Case; 'Perception' Alum Joins Show

TNT's hit police-procedural drama TV series "Major Crimes" Season 4 returns this week with a brand new episode that will see Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) and her crew taken deep into the world of reality television. Meanwhile, a newcomer signs in to the drama to play a character selling drugs.

Citing the spoiler report from TVGuide.com, it is said that the episode titled "Reality check" will find Raydor and the Major Crimes Department dealing with a murder that took place during the taping of a reality competition show. The TV program is said to pit married couples against each other.

The case will specifically affect Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz). As they go deeper into their investigation, the police officer will be reminded of his late wife.

In another development, Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin) will finally meet with Slider's (Garrett Coffey) lawyer. The latter character will reportedly be played by "The Young and The Restless" star Greg Rikaart.

In the casting side of the news, a report from Examiner.com mentions the arrival of actor Arjay Smith into the show. According to the media outlet, the 'Perception' alum has landed a recurring role in the series as the character Dennis Price.

The new player is said to be a "confident young man who has created a good business for himself as the neighborhood drug dealer." By that description, it can be easily assumed that the latter will come in disagreement with Raydor and her men.

Moreover, the report indicated that Smith's alter-ego will be making an appearance in the show's upcoming big season finale called "Penalty Phase" which will air later this year.

"Major Crimes" Season 4, meanwhile, also features the acts of G.W. Bailey as Lt. Provenza, Kearran Giovanni as Det. Amy Skyes and Tony Denison as Lt. Andy Flynn among others.

Show airs every Mondays, at 9 p.m. on TNT.
