After a controversial second season of the reality series "Married At First Sight," it seems as though the third season will bring just as much drama.

The new participants of the series were recently revealed, showing the scientifically matched pairings. However, even the participants themselves shared their hesitation regarding their matches. After the revelation of David Norton and Ashley Doherty's matching, a woman, who was allegedly Norton's mother, made a statement regarding the pair.

According to Movie News Guide, it was revealed that she was not satisfied with her son's involvement in the series. She explained that Doherty seems as though she is just in the series for the money. The source stated, "The movie industry pays well and they pay for everything. My son was tricked to be on the show."

However, that was not the only source to speak about Norton. It was revealed that Norton was also in some financial and legal trouble himself. With that, it is believed that he also joined the series in order to get money.

Meanwhile, the episode also showed some trouble for the couple. When they met, it was revealed that Norton was happy to have been matches for Doherty. However, Doherty did not feel the same way. She said, "Unfortunately, he is not the typical look that I normally date."

She went on to express her discomfort while they were pronounced married. She was seen unable to kiss her husband even just for photos. She then revealed to her friend that she did not like Norton at all.

However, things took a turn for the better when Norton kisses her on the hand which made her realize that he was a gentleman. She then put more effort in getting to know her new husband, asking about his late father.

"Married at First Sight" Season 3 airs Tuesdays on FYI.
