'Marvel's Agent Carter' Season 2 Episode 4 Spoilers: Peggy Uncovers The Mask Of Hollywood Star Whitney Frost
Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) locked horns with her superiors in the previous episode of ABC's hit Marvel TV series "Agent Carter" Season 2 titled "Better Angels" as she continues to search for the truth about the Zero Matter. In the upcoming episode of the series, more details about this season's big bad, Whitney Frost/ Madame Masque (Wynn Everett), will be uncovered.
It appears that in order for her to carry out the mission, Peggy may need the help of someone who is as capable as her and this is where Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan) comes into the picture. Reports said that the character will be seen again in the upcoming episode of the show.
"Dottie has no empathy and that's incredibly dangerous because it means she's sick; however, Peggy can't deny that she can be extremely valuable," Atwell told Entertainment Weekly in an interview. "They both know, under the surface, this is a game of psychological warfare between them."
This season's villain, meanwhile, is a force to reckon with. In fact, it will be an uphill battle as the SSR realized that there's actually more behind the mask of the celebrated actress.
"She's a whole different kettle of fish," the English star told TVLine. "It's a very sophisticated thing to be able to do, to hide in broad daylight when the whole world is starting at you with no idea what's going on behind your eyes. That makes for a fascinating nemesis for Peggy because she's really met her match here."
Atwell further described her enemy as being the other side of the same coin to her character. While her alter-ego is hell bent on taking down the evil doers, Frost only "uses her power for a force of bad."
Executive producer Michele Fazekas told EW, in a separate interview, that Whitney's contact with the Zero Matter (or as comic fans know as Darkforce) will empower her even more.
