'Mass Effect 4' News: Details Still Scarce on Game's Development as Team Continues Search for Wynn Replacement

Ever since it was announced that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is in development, fans have been waiting for new information aside from the release date, which is expected later in 2016.

However, details about the game's developments are still very scarce and Bioware has not really said anything much. The lack of information has then caused many outlets and fans to come up with theories and speculations about how the game will be.

With other games, there is usually some new information every couple of months, but unfortunately for the fourth installment in the "Mass Effect" trilogy, except for Bioware developer Cameron Lee tweeting earlier this month that he has completed playing the game's first hour.

Lee didn't go into details though he said he "got to shoot things in the face," which is a lot of fun for those who have experienced the action in previous installments.

Due to the refusal of the developer and anyone from the team to give some details that would ease the anticipation, there have been doubts that the game may have been lost in the timeline.

Reports last year suggested that the upcoming game won't be dwelling on the events that occurred in the first three installments. It is expected that the game will release with a new story and probably a new setting to up the interest of players.

Another issue that the development team was recently faced with is Chris Wynn's exit. He was the senior development creator and his good-bye further added to the fear that the game's expected release will be delayed.

It is clear that Bioware Montreal has not found a replacement for Wynn since there have been no announcements about a new director who can pick up what Wynn has left.

It is rumored that the developing team may be having a hard time spotting the right person who can step to the plate and furnish whatever work Wynn has accomplished before he said good-bye late last month.

For now, fans can just rely on theories and speculations about the game since Bioware seems to be busy searching for a bright director like Wynn who can take over the big responsibility.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to release by the fourth quarter of 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
