Megan Fox Wears Mouthguard During Tattoo Removal

Actress Megan Fox has reportedly worn a mouthguard to deal with the pain of having her famous Marilyn Monroe tattoo removed from her forearm.

The Transformers actress revealed in August that she has outgrown her Marilyn Monroe tattoo and that she wanted to have it removed because she did not want to attract negative energy.

In an interview, she said of Monroe: “She is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.”

Fox is removing the tattoo with laser treatment, and the process is said to be very painful. According to Star magazine, a friend close the star said Megan was “freaking out over how badly it hurt.”

The friend said she suggested wearing a mouthguard to bite down and deal with the pain as well as protect her teeth.

The actress said removing the tattoo is “a hundred times worse than the tattoo itself.”

Fox has a number of other inkings on her body, including a quote from Shakespeare on her back and the name of her husband Brian Austin Green below her stomach.
