Michael Schumacher Latest Condition News: Manager Denies Report that Formula One Legend Can Now Walk

It's been almost two years already when Formula One great Michael Schumacher suffered a life-threatening accident while skiing in the Alps. Since then, the serious head injuries have taken the normalcy of the German's retirement. His condition has been so unfortunate that news providing an update of his life after the accident is nothing but sadness.

Now here comes a German-published magazine called Bunte, who earlier this week released an article claiming that the seven-time world champion is walking again, adding that Schumacher, though very thin, is already making strides with minimal help from a therapist.

It certainly is a miracle — positive news that would cheer up millions of Schumacher fans. But the sad thing is it's not true.

Sabine Kehm, the German racing legend's longtime manager, refuted the claims of the article and slammed the magazine. "Unfortunately, we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael (Schumacher) could move again is not true. Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important for Michael," he said.

But Bunte seems adamant and defiant in its claim, saying that they don't plan on retracting the piece. The magazine even went as far as coining a term for Schumacher's recovery as "Christmas Miracle."

Schumacher had to undergo two brain surgeries and was later placed in an induced coma after a freak accident in the French Alps in December of 2013. Initial reports at that time said that he hit his head on a rock and immediately collapsed. After almost a year in the hospital, his family decided that he should be transported to his Lake Geneva home where a medical suite built for him was waiting.

There have been only a few updates on his condition this year, except for the outrageous claim from the German magazine this week.
