Microsoft Lumia 650 Update: Leaked Images Revealed Metal Frame; Handset Approved by FCC
It's no secret anymore that Microsoft is cooking another handset for the Lumia series. The latest one that fans have been waiting for is the Lumia 650. According to Pocket-Lint, the handset has already been confirmed by Microsoft and is bound to come soon.
A brand new leak has also surfaced showing a live image of the device's prototype, reports Christian Today. As seen on the photo, the upcoming Lumia 650 is hinted to come with a metal frame even though it's designed to be a mid-range device. In fact, the Lumia 950 only came with a plastic sheath even though it's a high-end device.
The Lumia 650 is going to be a memorable device from the Redmond-based company since it is said to be the last model in the series. Microsoft will launch a new one which is the Surface Phone. But before the hype all goes to the new line, the Lumia 650 will first impress consumers with its specs and feautres. Not a lot has been confirmed yet but according to Techno Buffalo, the smartphone has already been approved by the FCC.

FCC listed the device with the model number RM-1152. It is said to sport a 5-inch 720p display with a pixel density of 293ppi. It is also said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset under the hood, although, some reports suggested a Snapdragon 212 unit. It will come with 1 GB of RAM only with a speculated internal storage capacity of 8 GB.
As for the battery pack, the Lumia 650 is said to carry 2000 mAh battery and may support wireless charging. Running with Windows 10 Mobile, it will have an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. And since the device is a mid-range entry, it's expected to be a lot cheaper compared to the flagship devices Lumia 950 and 950 XL, although, the price tag of Lumia 650 is not revealed yet.
