'Modern Family' Season 7 Finale Spoilers: Lily Suffers the Backlash of Her Parents' Conflict
ABC is now ready to kick off the Season 7 finale of its hit TV series "Modern Family" this week with an episode that will get to see the tight situation Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) will find herself in as her parents Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) continues to go up against each other.
The synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the upcoming episode, titled "Double Click," teases that Cam and Mitch might be having some disagreements when it comes to who gets to be with the little girl. Cam has taken a summer job that would temporarily relocate him to Kansas City. Mitch, on his part, will be staying at home. Both of them don't want to be apart from their kid for too long, and this is some big issue to settle with among the adults. Obviously, this won't particular sit well with Lily who may feel that her parents are quarreling too much. Needless to say, the kid wants to be with her dads, but Cam's work makes it very hard for the family. Will the trio be able to pull off a sound solution?
In another development, the TFC summary also said that that Claire (Julie Bowen) is having a hard time breaking the bad news to one of her employees. Phil (Ty Burrell), meanwhile, will suspect that Luke (Nolan Gould) is with a girl in his room.

A promo video, which can be seen below, teases some hilarious moments when Phil tries to find out with Claire that their son is bringing home a girl.
The clip shows the father trying to wake up Claire to tell her about his discovery. However, when they returned to take a peek in his room, they couldn't find anyone but Luke.
As with the Pritchett's, Jay (Ed O'Neill) may realize that going back into the workforce is not that easy after all.
