'Modern Family' Season 7 Spoilers: Gloria's Christmas Is Bound To Be Ruined In Episode 9

Fans are certainly hoping that the hit family drama TV series from ABC, "Modern Family" Season 7, won't be airing a rerun for the Christmas holiday just like what it did in this year's Halloween and Thanksgiving. And it looks like the wishes have been granted as the show will reportedly return this week with an exciting, fun-packed brand new episode.

Titled "White Christmas," the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic said that Gloria Pritchett will try her best to make this year's Christmas a perfect one for the whole family. Everything is set, including the venue. What could possibly go wrong with Gloria's celebration plans?

It's quite understandable for Gloria to have this kind of anticipation for the occasion. The character was known to have grown up in a place where Christmas is not a priority. Now that she has all the resources, Gloria has decided to take matters into her own hands. The TFC summary said that she'll be renting a secluded cabin located up in the mountains and bringing her whole family.

Of course, the whole family will be with her including Andy, who is currently having a romantic involvement with Haley.

But things will take a turn for the worse when, according to the report, the family runs into a few problems like the weather which is kind of too hot for the season. Making it worse is the fact that there's an "eccentric random guest" who is already occupying the cabin they should be exclusively renting.

In another development, Mitch and Cam will be busy preparing for a caroling performance. Their loss from last year's event might have pushed the duo to raise the bar. Meanwhile, Claire will hear a huge announcement from Jay. What could this surprise be?

Find out how the events unfold when "Modern Family" Season 7 airs this Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
