'Modern Family' Season 7 Spoilers: Jay Pritchett to Take Up New Dangerous Hobby

"Modern Family" season 7's upcoming episode will see the Pritchett patriarch taking up a new hobby that his family will deem dangerous.

After retiring, Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) will spend his leisure time piloting planes. The next episode of "Modern Family" season 7 will show how worried his family will be because of his new chosen hobby, according to Christian Today.

In the episode of "Modern Family" season 7 titled "Clean for a Day," Jay's son-in-law Cam (Eric Stonestreet) will also disapprove of his father-in-law's new hobby. He thinks Jay is teasing death by piloting small planes during his leisure time, the report details.

Gloria (Sofia Vergara), on the other hand, will try to come up with more ways to get closer to her newly retired husband. She will plan on learning how to play golf because she knows Jay enjoys playing this sport, the report relays.

In addition, Gloria will also request a golf tutorial from her stepson Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). However, it remains to be seen if her plan will work, especially since Jay has decided to take up a new hobby.

Claire (Julie Bowen) is set to take over Jay's closet business, so she will plan on a total makeover for their house in preparation for that task. However, Phil (Ty Burrell), Luke (Nolan Gould), and Alex (Ariel Winter) will not be very cooperative with the cleanup drive, Movie News Guide reports.

The cleanup will turn into an emotional moment as the family members come across sentimental objects that they will find hard to let go, the report adds.

Meanwhile, the next episode will welcome actor Adam Arkin as a guest character. He will play the part of a dentist for the Los Angeles Kings who will eventually become friends with Jay.

"Modern Family" season 7 airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
