Design

Motorola Droid Razr: the device is currently the world`s thinnest smartphone at 7.1mm thickness, according to CNET. It is also light with just 4.48oz.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: the new smartphone is 8.8mm and boasts a curved glass front panel that makes it unique from the RAZR. The Galaxy Nexus is heavier than the Razr at 4.76oz and has a 2000 mAh battery.

Display

Motorola Droid Razr: Razr has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD with 960 x 540 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: the Galaxy Nexus is bigger than the Razr with 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 HD Super AMOLED display, which gives users more room for viewing videos at a much higher resolution.

Hardware

Motorola Droid Razr: the Razr sports a 1.2 GHz dual-core OMAP4430 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB Internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: it has a 1.2 GHz dual-core OMAP4460 with 1GB (RAM) and 16GB/32GB Internal memory. Galaxy Nexus also comes with 16GB pre-installed SD card.

Operating System

Motorola Droid Razr: the Razr will have the latest version of Gingerbread Android 2.3.5 and it will be possible for users to upgrade to the Ice Cream Sandwich OS in the future.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: the Galaxy Nexus will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich from launch.
