While Malek did not reveal much about what Gummer's character will be up to in the season to come, according to Access Hollywood, he stated, "I can't tell you much about her, but I do know her previously. So, we've just been texting one another and looking forward to working with each other. Grace Gummer is such a really wonderful spirit. She's just fun to be around and very professional."

With that, fans are hoping to see an interesting new season for "Mr. Robot." The previous season left off with a big revelation, which had fans curious about where the show will go next. The creator of the series recently shared some details about Season 2.

According to Variety, Sam Esmail stated, "This whole show has been about Elliot's emotional journey, so Season 2 is about how Elliot reconciles the fact that he's seeing this fantasy. It's going to be about Elliot really negotiating with himself since that's a tough pill to swallow. There will be a lot more backstory that will be shown."

This means that the season will soon explore the past of Elliot, the character portrayed by Rami Malek. It was said that it will shed more light on details regarding his parents and childhood.

"Mr. Robot" season 2 is expected to premiere this June 2016.
