'NBA Live 16' receives first title update
"NBA Live 16" has finally received its first title update after EA Sports discovered over 200 problems with the video game.
The Title Update 1 for NBA Live 16 was released on EA Access and will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by Sept. 29. But players can still use the demo version and the LIVE Pro-Am for free even after the game's official launch, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
"These improvements are part of our commitment to delivering great gameplay and an amazing place to play basketball online with your friends," the International Business Times quotes EA.

All NBA Live 16 players, including the ones who have already purchased the game, can compete with other gamers using their 80-capped created player. This is the developer's way of thanking the game's fans for their participation in improving the online multi-player basketball game, the report adds.
Improvements for the Pro-Am include corrections to the desync, update to the Hoope Dome objective, solution to absence of achievements in Summer Circuit, fix to Matchmaking issue in H2H, absence of avatars in the lobbies, viewing of Skills adjustment in LIVE Run, and other general functionality problems.
For Play Now, the developer has fixed the softlock for the Tip Off after players have accessed Playbooks. For Online, issues with proper awarding of achievements and entering of Online H2H have already been addressed, the report details.
NBA Live 16 Gameplay also has a lot of fixes included in the update. Among the issues addressed are the modified stepback, pump fakes, AI's unfinished up and under sequence, general emotion tuning, handoff indicator tuning, animation adjustments, incorrect defensive indicator colors, and warp animations. There are also corrections to the foul shot toward the wrong basket, fallback layup animation, and the Euro Step.
Other changes in NBA Live 16 affect the stability when entering or exiting modes, Game Invitation, Tattoo Shop UI updates, and Crowd Audio during gameplay.
While the glitches in the NBA Live 16's free demo version have not shocked fans that much, the animation issues turned out to be very funny. True to EA's word, it has released the fixes for the several issues before the game's official release date.
