NCIS: LA Season 7 Spoilers: Show Goes On A Short Hiatus; Resumes Feb. 8 With 'Matryoshka'

Fans should brace themselves for the big events that are about to come when the hit police procedural drama TV series "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 7 returns to CBS. For the meantime, the show will be taking a one-week break and will reportedly resume next week, Feb. 8.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Matryoshka," the team will find themselves in deep water as they take on the case involving Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) former love interest, Anastasia "Anna" Kolchek (Bar Paly).

As further detailed in the summary, the NCIS will go undercover together with Anna at a gala in Los Angeles. Their hope is to gain access to the Russian Consul General's computer. Any data they could scrape would eventually help them locate Arkady (Vyto Ruginis) who is now in Russia.

The episode will serve as the precursor for the upcoming two-part "NCIS: LA" special, which will delve deeper into the case involving Anna's father, Arkady.

SpoilerTV.com shared a handful of promo stills taken from the episode. The images feature Agents Callen and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) all dressed up in suits as they escort Anna, who herself is quite dashing for the formal event. Taking further hints from the photos, it appears that viewers will get to see G showing some moves on the dance floor together with Anna.

Sam, on his part, will also get to mingle with the partygoers while Kensi (Daniela Ruah) looks a bit disappointed with her part in the mission as one of the service crew members. Good thing, there's Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) who is also part of the catering staff.  The rest of the images show the crew in action as they set forth to catch someone on the run.

Don't miss the action-packed episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 7 when the show returns next Monday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m .on CBS.
