'NCIS: LA' Season 7 Spoilers: Team Tackles The Death Of A Tech Entrepreneur
This week, CBS' hit police procedural drama TV series "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 7 will return with yet another exciting brand new, techy episode which will see a lot of Callen in action.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Angels & Daemons," the NCIS team will follow the trail of a murder case which involves the death of an entrepreneur turned venture capitalist. The victims happens to have developed a daemon, which is a background computer program that allows users to collect data from any device without being detected. Victims of this application will be clueless that their information is being harvested without their knowledge.
Taking the task of catching the killer, NCIS Special Agent G. Callen will sign up to go undercover and work as a tech savvy personnel at the same technology firm that the deceased previously worked at. The trailer for the episode showed Callen who appears to be quite comfortable with the easy life facilitated with hover boards and electronic gadgets.
Nonetheless, it would be Callen's goal to pin down the very person who took the tech entrepreneur's life while at the same time, secure the potent program and prevent it from landing in the wrong hands.
"NCIS: LA" premiered the second part of Season 7 on Jan. 4 with the episode "Core Values." The episode found the team investigating a decommissioned nuclear power plant where a Marine, who happened to work part-time as a security guard, was found dead and was thought to be caused by radiation poisoning.
The mid-season opener was packed with intense scenes that saw Sam and Callen racing against the clock to prevent a bomb explosion that could wipe out a huge area.
For the meantime, "NCIS: LA" Season 7 Episode 13 "Angels and Daemons" airs this Monday, Jan. 18, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
