'NCIS' Season 11 Spoilers: Ellie Bishop is Married?

"NCIS" returns to CBS with another installment entitled "Dressed to Kill" tonight, and fans are wondering what is in store for the cast.

Emily Wickersham's character, Ellie Bishop, was introduced this season, and along with her came some mystery. "NCIS" showrunner Gary Glasberg revealed spoilers to TV Line that Ellie is in fact married, but that the husband will not be introduced quickly.

"At some point we'll spend some time with her husband, but we wanted to introduce her first and let people connect with her and understand who she is first," he said.

Meanwhile, Wickersham previously revealed more about her character, and what fans can expect during the rest of season 11 on "NCIS."

"Well, Ellie is from a big family in Oklahoma, a Midwestern girl," she told TV Line in January. "We know that she is married, though we don't really know much about Bishop's husband yet."

However, the actress did not disclose if the rumors were true about her character's husband being an actor.

"I'm not sure what's been revealed, to be honest, but it's a storyline that I'm really looking forward to getting to know more about," said Wickersham. "I think it'll be fun to see where Bishop comes from. She has three older brothers, which I think makes the transition to hanging out with the NCIS crew easier."

The synopsis of Tuesday's installment of "NCIS" entitled "Dressed to Kill" reads: "Guns are drawn when DiNozzo confronts a man impersonating a Navy officer and the perpetrator is left dead. The investigation reveals that the only witness is DiNozzo's father, who is in town to disclose a secret to his son," according to TV Guide.

"NCIS" airs on CBS Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST.

The television series recently celebrated its 250th episode, and a spin-off series, "NCIS: New Orleans," was recently announced.
