'New Girl' Season 5 Cast: Hannah Simone Comments On Guest Star Megan Fox

Fox's hit sitcom "New Girl" is now ready to kick off its fifth season with more exciting developments and apparently, a new character that is set to "shake things up."

According to the casting report from TVLine, "Transformers" star Megan Fox is coming over for Season 5 for a guesting role. Her character, Reagan, is said to "shake things up" when she shows up in Los Angeles as a "gorgeous, straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep."

Her appearance will instantly give viewers some hints that the character had a steamy past with Hanna Simone's character, Cece.

During an interview with the media outlet, the actor divulged that the first episode written with Megan revealed Cece's romantic history with Reagan.

"By the end of that first episode, they're in the shower together. So yes, her character definitely shakes things up," the star who plays Schimidt's (Max Greenfied) new fiancée said.

Fox, on the other hand, dished out more details about the shower scene to E!Online.

"She was not in much. I was in pajamas, but she was, I think, naked under a towel. She definitely was naked under a towel. That's what we should say, right? So people get excited?" the 29-year-old mother of two shared.

E! went on to reveal that apparently, the male cast members of the series were unaware of the top-secret scene. Greenfield said to the media outlet that maybe, "if that happened, [they] were not invited to set."

Character-wise, Schmidt will be having a difficult time dealing with the revelation as the reforming womanizer is an insecure and possessive guy, Fox meanwhile told TVLine.

Fox's Reagan will be substituting for Zooey Deschanel's Jess for five episodes as the latter attends to some jury duty. In real life, Deschanel is on a maternity leave after giving birth to her daughter, Elsie Otter, with husband, Jacob Pechenik.

The new season of "New Girl" is slated to premiere January 5. Stay tuned for more updates.
