New 'GTA Online' Content Features Rumors: Rockstar Plans More Halloween DLC

"GTA Online" players are getting their presents early as Rockstar reveals its next batch of big updates this autumn. This is following the release of the Smuggler's Run update back in August which added several new aircraft and personal hangars.

The first update fans can expect is the brand new Transform Races game mode. The update is set to arrive this month, possibly as early as this week.

The new game mode is a unique take on the traditional racing game. Instead of driving a single type of vehicle, Transform Races promises racing that takes players from land races to sea races and then to air by instantaneously changing vehicles and race types.

"Jump instantly from the curves of a gritty, downtown street race straight into a speeding jet high above Los Santos, then dive face first down Raton Canyon on a jet ski and more," reads the official Rockstar statement for the upcoming new game mode.

Although Transform Races will only be Rockstar-created at release, the tools used to make them will be made available to players later in the year. This means that soon, players can make their own transform races across land, sea, and air.

In addition to the new racing mode, "GTA Online" players can also look forward to the new Adversary Modes. There's also the Condemned mode, a free-for-all PvP mode where one player is marked for death where the only way to survive is for them to pass the mark to another player. Kind of like an extreme game of tag.

Of course, there's also the addition of more vehicle options. These include Hunter helicopter, Coil Cyclone Supercar, and more Weaponized Vehicles as well as new properties. Seasonal events will also make a comeback later this year, just in time for the holidays.

"GTA Online" is currently available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
