New York City - Macy's 4th of July Fireworks 2016:Watch the Live Stream and TV Broadcast; Performers to Catch, Best and Worst Locations to See Show
Macy's is recognized as the largest Independence Day Pyrotechnic show in America. This year (2016), the event is gearing up for an even more spectacular fireworks display in celebrating its 40th anniversary. Basic information for the show whether it's the start time or the performers or where one can watch the show is provided below.
Start Time & Location
The show will start at 9:25PM on the 4th of July and it will last for 25 minutes. It will take place at East River in Manhattan.

Spoiler Alert! Being a remarkable year for Macy's, a lot had been expecting for this show. One of the things people are looking forward to is the 2016 pyro-writing wherein U-S-A will be spelled out during the fireworks display. In addition to that, everyone is also excited to listen to the set of performers on the show. The amazing performers for the event are Kenny Chesney, Meghan Trainor, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pitbull and DNCE.
Music & Performances
According to Macy's, the musical pieces to be played are: The Star Spangled Banner, The Stars & Stripes Forever, This Land is Your Land, Shenandoah, This is My Country, The Armed Services Medley, Where Eagles Fly and God Bless America. Macy's also said that "During the display, a bell will chime 13 times to salute the 13 original colonies on America's 240th birthday."
There will be a wonderful rendition of America the Beautiful, performed by TONY Award-winner Jennifer Holliday and the United States Air Force Singing Sergeants. The event will be hosted by Willie Geist and Tamron Hall.
Best Places to Watch
Aside from that, a lot are also planning and looking for the best spots where they could get a view of the fireworks display. Macy's will launch barges along the East River. Public viewing areas can also be located in Houston, 23rd, 24th, and 42nd streets and as well as in Queens and Brooklyn as long as the view of the sky is unobstructed.
The event is also suitable for persons or elderly persons with disability. Macy's has provided areas in Manhattan (FDR southbound lane, 16th street, 34th street, or Vietnam Memorial Park) and in Brooklyn and at Queens (Center Boulevard from 48th to 49th Avenues) for disabled persons.
Macy's notes that backpacks, chairs, or any large items are prohibited by New York Police Department.
People who are willing to spend dollars can purchase tickets via Circle Line, Hornblower Cruises and more. They serve options that include foods, photo op locations, onboard amenities and lastly, a breathtaking view of the pyro display.
They can also purchase some souvenir items from Macy's like T-shirts with "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks 40th Anniversary" print and tote bags.
TV Broadcast & Live Streaming
TV broadcasts will be aired in NBC, at 8PM EST. People can also livestream online.
