Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell Split; is it Because of Ian Somerhalder?

Bulgarian-Canadian actress and model Nina Dobrev is rumored to be reuniting with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. According to a report by Daily Mail, the former "Vampire Diaries" star is currently officially single again after she and Austin Stowell broke up. The two dated for seven months but called it quits around January or February due to some reasons that are not officially known to the public.

There are several hearsays, though, and one speculation said that the actress and the "Whiplash" actor broke up due to scheduling difficulties.

"It started to get hard with both of their schedules," a source revealed to E! News. "They remain on good terms."

The scheduling conflict is a reasonable cause for breaking up, but another speculation is that the reason could be something to do with Ian Somerhalder. Dobrev and Somerhalder dated for a long time before breaking up in 2013. The two have moved on with their lives since then with Dobrev dating Stowell and Somerhalder marrying Nikki Reed.

And now, after being single again, the actress has kept herself busy by working on her new movie "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." But rumors have it that she and Somerhalder may be getting together again because of the latter's shaky marriage. Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Reed and Somerhalder have been at odds over deciding on starting a family or not. There are rumors that Reed did not want to have a baby yet because she wants to focus on her career first. But other rumors that surfaced say that Somerhalder isn't ready as well because of his hopes of reuniting with former flame Dobrev.

There are no confirmations to each rumor, though, so it's best to take the report with a grain of salt. However, Dobrev did break her silence to Entertainment Online about her breakup with Somerhalder.

"I've said this before, that we didn't break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn't love or friendship," she says. "I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he's great and I care about him. And that didn't change. Yes, we're professional and that's fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now."
