Thought the return of "Orange Is The New Black" reassured fans about the fate of Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), the actress hinted that there is still a lot in store for her character.

"Orange Is The New Black" Season 4 confirmed that Vause is still alive. The previous season teased that she was in grave danger when someone tried to attack her inside the greenhouse. Luckily, one of her fellow inmates was able to save her in the nick of time.

However, the fate of her attacker was bleak as he ended up beaten. This left the two of them in an unfortunate situation, leading to the disposal of the character. The scene was gruesome, giving detail on how they got rid of the body. Despite their efforts to get rid of the killer, Prepon teased in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that there is still a lot of twists in store.
She said, "Everyone knows that I'm back, but nobody has any idea what the storyline is going to be. You can't really guess what happens."
Aftermath of the Traumatic Incident
In addition, Prepon explained that killing her attacker is something that will affect her character's development as the season progresses. She said that it will continue to haunt her since it was her first time doing that. With that, she teased that there is a possibility that Vause and Piper (Taylor Schilling) will end up together again despite their break up in Season 3.
She said, "Alex really needs Piper and needs that relationship to kind of humanize her again. That stuff changes people. We've seen them go through so many things, but it's always grounded in the fact that they do really love each other. So when everything hits the fan, they go to each other."
Meanwhile, Piper is going through her own challenges now that there are many new inmates in Litchfield. Because of that, there is a need for her to assert her power in order to establish her position in the precinct.
