'Orange is the New Black' Season 3 Plot Spoilers: Piper and Alex Relationship to Be Explored More
"Orange is the New Black" is set to premiere its third season sometime next year and fans and viewers are already wondering what the new season has in store following the success of its first two seasons.
The Netflix series has been gone on air for almost six months, but it has reportedly wrapped up filming for the season. All that's left now is to wait for the teasers, pictures and the official synopsis to be released, because as of now even the cast and crew have remained tight-lipped over the storyline.
So far, all that's known about the storyline was that it was going to explore "faith," as teased by show creator Jenji Kohan.

When it comes to the characters though, questions have been erupting online as to their fate on the show. Some say that the relationship between Piper Chapman and Alex Vause will be explored more, especially as the latter was said to be appearing in all the episodes of the show and will most likely return to jail after pointing a gun at her probationary officer.
Vee, who was seemingly dead during the previous season after getting run over, was rumored to be making a return. Netflix however, confirmed that Vee will not be starring in the next season, but that Lotty is set to come back.
Other supposed spoilers that have popped up include Big Boo getting a flashback to reveal her backstory, which means she may or may not end up dead on the show, and that Alex will also be getting her own flashbacks.
Some actors have also been upgraded to series regulars, such as Selenis Levya, who plays Gloria; Samira Wiley, who plays Poussey; Adrienne C. Moore as Black Cindy and more. Brook Soso, played by Kimiko Glenn, will also be back, while Danielle Brooks' Taystee will be getting a new story arc after her relationship with Vee back in season two.
It remains to be seen whether the spoilers are legitimate or not, but for now, fans and viewers will have to wait until the show returns on air. While Netflix has yet to set a premiere date, rumors have it that the third season can be expected sometime in June or July 2015, following the season one release back in July 2013 followed by season two in June 2014.
