Orange is the New Black Season 3 promises to hold more shockers, and in new plot spoilers and cast rumors surrounding the Netflix show, it appears that actor Pablo Schreiber, the actor who plays George "Pornstache" Mendez, may not appear in the upcoming season, which will disappoint fans.

Viewers of Netflix's Orange is the New Black have come to have a love-hate relationship with George "Pornstache" Mendez. He clearly is a character that fans love to hate, but fans will no doubt miss his menacing ways in the upcoming season.

Pablo Schreiber has spoken to Vulture, and has indicated that seeing as his character is now in prison, the amount of time he will be given – if any at all – will be very limited for Season 3.

Speaking about his other career prospects following his appearances on Orange is the New Black, he has said, "I'm a series regular now on a show called The Brink on HBO. But his mother is making an appearance on season three. Mary Steenburgen has been cast as my mom. I'm not sure what she'll do that will advance the Pornstache plotline, but for now, Mendez is in prison, biding his time."

However, even though Schreiber will be missing for Season 3, Mendez's mother in the series, 'Justified' actress Mary Steenburgen, will definitely be cast in the third season, according to new reports.

A plot spoiler reported on by Vulture hinted that Steenburgen might take custody of Daya's daughter in Season 3.

In other spoilers currently doing the rounds about the new season, character Alex Vause, who is played by actress Laura Prepon, will also definitely be returning to play a part in all episodes in season 3. It has been indicated that her relationship with lead character Piper Chapman will also continue and have various developments.
