During the SAG Awards party in Los Angeles on Friday, the actress, who plays Alex Vause in the series, said that Season 4 is basically a direct continuation of Season 3.

"What's cool is season 4 actually picks up right where season 3 left off. So it's literally, it continues five seconds later, which is really great because at the end of last season…," the 35-year-old was quoted as saying by Entertainment Weekly.

She further teased that fans will find her still in the greenhouse, with "all this craziness going on."

"It's awesome," she went on to tease.

The "That '70's Show" star also revealed to EW about the love and hate relationship her character shared with Taylor Schilling's alter-ego, Piper Chapman.

"That's their relationship, and that's what's so interesting about them," Prepon told the publication. "They love each other and they hate each other, and it's frustrating and passionate, but there's definitely some vindication there, for sure. Piper thought she was crazy all season, but she wasn't."

When asked what the fans should expect in the entirety of the upcoming installment, Prepon said that the show will get to uncover more of the backstories as well as introduce new characters. She said viewers will get to see more people in the prison.

"This season I think is one of our best by far" the actress said and adds that she thinks the fans will be really happy with how the show goes.

She went on to praise the writers for making the show even more interesting. She particularly pointed out series creator Jenji Kohan for being "so awesome," while also commending the streaming service network for letting them do their own thing.

"Orange Is The New Black" Season 4 is expected to return to Netflix on June 17.
