Paul Walker's Brother, Cody Walker, Keeping Quiet Over Movie Rumors and Fake Death Hoax

Not much is being said by Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, in the wake of rumors that his late brother faked his own death and the possibility that he would take over his brother's character in the upcoming "Fast and the Furious 7" movie.

In the newest installment of the movie franchise, Walker was a central figure and producers and writers have been working furiously to determine how best to proceed.

However, despite strong speculation across various media outlets that Cody would be getting the nod and that those behind the film were rewriting parts of the script to accommodate Cody, he and his family have remained silent and have not addressed the rumors or wider speculation.

The news that Cody might be involved comes on the heels of a widely publicized hoax that insisted Paul Walker faked his own death.

The website nodisinfo.com started the tasteless rumor after publishing a story depicting, accompanied with doctored photo evidence, how the actor and a production crew were able to pull off such an elaborate hoax.

The "Fast & Furious" star and his friend Roger Rodas were killed when the Porsche Carrera GT they were traveling in crashed and caught fire.

An autopsy report formally identified Walker, 40, as the passenger, and Rodas, 38, as the driver. The report, which listed the incident as an accident, stated that Rodas died of "multiple traumatic injuries" and Walker of "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries."

A toxicology report is still pending for both men.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department insisted that speed was a factor in the one-car crash in the community of Valencia.

There was an outpouring of support from fans all over the globe after news of his passing was posted to his social media accounts.

Walker was on a break from filming the seventh film in the series and Universal Pictures announced shortly after the actor's passing that it was shutting down production on the latest sequel.

"Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended 'Fast & Furious' family of cast, crew, and filmmakers," the studio said in a statement.
