Reese will not be the only character in "Person of Interest" season 5 who will encounter bumps along the road. Michael Emerson revealed that Finch will also have his own struggle, the report relays.

In the past, Finch had always maintained a gap between himself and the Machine. However, he will realize that he has become emotionally attached to the Machine after he heard it talk to him.

Meanwhile, the series is reportedly headed toward its final season. Fans have grown increasingly concerned over the reduced season 5 episode count from 22 to 13, and the delayed release date, according to Crossmap.

The CBS series was originally slated for December release, but the network's lineup at the time did not include "Person of Interest." CBS President Glenn Geller later confirmed a spring premiere for the show, but no specific date was announced. Fans are now waiting for the network to release its spring lineup to know the fate of the series.

Fans have launched an online petition at change.org to have their favorite series picked up by Netflix, Hulu, or NBC in case CBS decides to drop the show. So far, the petition has gathered almost 25,000 signatures.
