On July 8 the father-of-two was sentenced to 8 years in federal prison for cashing stolen checks and laundering more than $2 million. In addition to serving time, he must repay $1.9 million in restitution.

Parks, who has been married to Nida for four years, chose not to attend his sentencing hearing which sparked divorce rumors.

In a recent interview Nida, who once served time for felony possession of a firearm among other offenses, was asked whether his marriage to the Bravo TV star will last.

"I doubt it," he told Atlanta radio station Be-100. "I mean, my wife didn't show up to my f------ sentencing. I'm still salty about that."

The couple shares two young sons, Ayden, 3, and Dylan, 14 months and Nida admitted that he is "disappointed" in himself for letting them down.

"I've just really been upset at just how I was raised and that I could possibly be taking my son through the same thing. But by the grace of God, he's still young and we have many years ahead of us. For me, I just can't make the same mistakes," he said.

"This is hell, hell on wheels. I've asked God to forgive me, I've forgiven myself. I had to move on," he added.
