Pistorius Suicidal After Allegedly Killing Girlfriend, Says Close Friend (VIDEO)

The life of Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has turned into a tragedy with new reports stating that the Blade Runner is now suicidal.

Pistorius, who became the first double leg amputee to compete during the 2012 Summer Olympics, has reportedly become suicidal. Pistorius is now facing jail time for the murder of Reeva Steenkamp, which took place on Valentine's Day.

The double amputee, who lost both legs when he was just an infant and became an inspiration to all last year, is now "a broken man" according to his close friend Mike Azzie. The friend also confided that Pistorius continues to mourn for girlfriend.

"He just always seems to mention Reeva and to ask us to pray for her and her family," Azzie said in the upcoming BBC3 documentary. "But most of all, you've got to understand that we are there for him and we will always be his friend."

Steenkamp was found shot in Pistorius' bathroom in February. Pistorius defended himself in the incident telling cops that he believed his girlfriend to be an intruder. As legal fees mount, the athlete has been forced to sell his race horse in addition to part of his property, only worsening his state of mind.

"He has no confidence in his tone of voice and he is just a man that is almost like someone that is walking around in circles and doesn't know where he is going," Azzie continued.

Pistorius' condition has become so bad in fact, that his friend appeared convinced that the athlete might be suicidal.

"I would say that, just speaking to him, that he is a broken man and that I would go as far to say that he would be on the verge of suicide. It really worries me," Azzie added.
