'Pokemon Z' Release Date Still Unspecified, Announcement Scheduled in February?

Pokemon fans have one common question for Nintendo and it has something to do with their next main entry "Pokemon Z." According to The Bit Bag, several fans are wondering when the game might be released. Unfortunately, the answer to that still remains hidden as details about the status of the game are very scarce. Die-hard fans are highly hopeful though that the game will have a 2016 release.

The "Pokemon" franchise is actually going to celebrate its 20th anniversary. iDigital Times noted that Nintendo, along with Game Freak and Pokemon Company, have been very busy including coming up with three new titles and re-released classics. They are also preparing for the big day with other treats that will be released in the coming months. But even so, "Pokemon Z' is still not mentioned amidst the festivities.

There are rumors though that Japanese magazine "CoroCoro" is going to reveal some hints about "Pokemon Z" in their February issue, which will be available on Feb. 15. Crossmap noted that the magazine issue will contain a world exclusive scoop poster and a major announcement.

But then again, the one referred to in the magazine may have nothing to do with the new game. It may bring some fresh news though on the upcoming film "Pokemon XY & Z." Joe Merrick from Serebii, a popular Pokemon fan site, also advised fans not to expect too much from the rumor as CoroCoro isn't going to make any Pokemon game-related announcement.

Meanwhile, a report from Master Herald said that "Pokemon Z" game may be arriving alongside the highly talked about augmented reality mobile-based application "Pokemon Go." There are rumors going around saying that the game may be released in May with launch date happening sometime in April. But since Nintendo has been fairly quiet and there is no confirmation to it, it's best to take reports regarding this with a pinch of salt.
