Presidential Debate 2012 Live Stream: Watch Obama, Romney Face Off
The second of three presidential debates takes place tonight beginning 9 p.m. ET. The debate, happening from Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., can be viewed live through the player below.
Americans are expecting President Barack Obama to come out more aggressively tonight after a weak performance in the first round against GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Republican Sen. Rob Portman, who has played Obama in debate rehearsals with Romney, said he expected Obama to "come out swinging," according to Fox News.

Obama said on Tuesday that he's feeling "fabulous" about the debate, which will take on a town hall format with the candidates answering pre-screened questions from a group of undecided voters.
Before the debate, Obama scheduled a last-minute prep with his team and dinner with his wife, Michelle.
As for Romney, the former Massachusetts governor has been closing the gap and is even leading in some polls ever since his much-praised debate performance earlier this month.
A new Gallup poll shows Romney leading 50 to 46 percent.
Tonight's audience at Hofstra University has been screened and selected by Gallup.
Romney campaign adviser Ed Gillespie told Fox News that Romney essentially is confident despite the expected attack by Obama in this debate.
"Whatever political tactic the president settles on as being in his best interest for the debate, he can't change his record and can't change his policies," Gillespie said.
The debate will be moderated by CNN's Candy Crowley. According to an agreement by both campaigns obtained by Time magazine, the moderator is not allowed to ask follow-up questions or comment on the questions asked by the audience or the answers of the candidates. But Crowley has indicated that she will not likely play by those rules.
"Once the table is kind of set by the town hall questioner, there is then time for me to say, 'Hey, wait a second, what about x, y, z?'" Crowley said.
