'Pretty Little Liars' - News on Final Season 7: First Look Tammin Sursok Returning as Jenna Marshall; New 2016 Season Premieres June 21
There are a lot of changes coming up in the reported final Season 7 of Freeform's hit crime and mystery drama TV series "Pretty Little Liars." Among the latest shockers that fans of the show will get to see is the return of Jenna Marshall.
Played by Tammin Sursok, the character has been absent on the show since Season 5. It's quite interesting to find out on what business the sometimes-blind villain will do in Rosewood but one thing is for sure, her presence will once again rock the lives of Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Ashley (Laura Leighton) and Emily (Shay Mitchell).
To build up the hype, PLL writer Bryan Holdman took to his social media to share a behind the scene photo of Sursok, who seems to be in her character, wearing a pair of shades.
Earlier this month, Sursok announced on Twitter her return to the fold with a photo of the script and, again, a pair of sunglasses.
Meanwhile, for those who missed it, Freeform released on Tuesday the first trailer for Season 7 via the show's official Instagram account.
It looks like the girls are once again in for some serious trouble. This time around, however, one of them might not make it alive to tell the tale. As teased in the clip, the Liars only got 24 hours to find and save Hanna.
"The bell tolls for Hanna," an ominous text message reads. Scenes then find the Rosewood girls running in haste to see a blond girl hanging from the ropes of a bell tower. Is it Hanna or someone else?
Mary can also be heard on the trailer, saying something cryptic like: "Many families have secrets. Sometimes those secrets are actual people."
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 is slated to premiere this June 21 at 8 p.m. on Freeform. Stay tuned for more updates.
