'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Spoilers: Special Episode Delves Into How The Moms Survive
In the anticipation for the return of ABC Family's hit teen drama TV series "Pretty Little Liars," the network will air a one-hour behind-the-scenes special episode this Tuesday, Nov. 24, which seeks to reveal the circumstances of the other important Rosewood characters.
Titled "5 Years Forward," the special segment will show how the mothers of the Pretty Little Liars survived the ordeal when they were trapped in "A's" basement. Fans may remember the villain trapping the moms inside the DeLaurentis' basement before the current season went on a hiatus this August.
A report from TVLine shares a snippet of the episode featuring Holly Marie Combs as Ella, Laura Leighton as Ashley, and Lesley Fera as Veronica. The media outlet further features an exclusive sneak peek with executive producer Oliver Goldstick sitting down with the aforementioned cast members to discuss their theories of the events.
In related news, series creator Marlene King dropped by at a morning TV talk show to tease what's coming next for the hit series.
Cited over at Enstarz.com, King confirms what most of the fans have long been talking about: a PLL spin-off movie.
"We've got some really big ideas for a great PLL movie, but that won't happen right after the series ends," the showrunner told the hosts of Good Morning America (via Enstarz). However, fans need to wait for a bit before their favorite girls appear on the big screen. King explained that they need to take a break before they can commit to a project of such extent.
"I think we'll take a little break and let everybody go off and do a few things and hopefully we'll come back together again and do something really special," she went on to say.
The Liars, Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), and Aria (Lucy Hale) are, for the meantime, slated to return to the small screen on Jan. 12 with the episode titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood."
Stay tuned for more updates.
