'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Spoilers: More Secrets Revealed in the Teaser

The newly released teaser for the upcoming return of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 revealed that episodes to come will bring more secrets.

It was previously reported that the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will showcase the lives of the girls five years into the future. However, fans can expect that they will be faced with more challenges and mysteries ahead.

The new photo for "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 showed the five girls of the series, Hanna played by Ashley Benson, Emily played by Shay Mitchell, Spencer played by Troian Bellisario, Aria played by Lucy Hale, and Alison played by Sasha Pieterse. It revealed that the girls will be having some tension in the season to come.
In the teaser, it was evident that the girls will be seeing a divide. Hanna was paired up with Emily, while Spencer was closer to Aria. As for Alison, she was all alone. With that, fans can expect that the story is still not over.

Another hint from the released photo showed a dirty white car in front of Rosewood. This revealed that the girls will be back to where it all started, despite them leaving for college in the finale of season 6 part 1. In addition, the car shows that they will soon be dealing with more dirty business in the episodes to come.

The executive producer of the series, Marlene King, shared some details about the girls' new villain for the second half of the season during an interview with MTV. She said, "The Big Bad has an agenda, and it's to find out why this person passes away - and to seek revenge on the person who is responsible. And it will not stop until that person pays, and the Big Bad will kill people to get that answer."

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 is expected to return on Jan. 12.
