Prince George Steals the Show in New Royal Portrait

In what could be his most adorable photo unveiled yet, Prince George took the attention of the world as he posed for a new royal portrait alongside the Queen and her successors.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the 2-year-old heir posed with his father, Prince William, his grandfather, Prince Charles, and his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, as they all smiled at the camera.

The photo was taken in celebration of the Queen's 90th birthday, which is April 21. The portrait has been unveiled as part of the Royal Mail's set of four, first-class stamps that honor the Queen's 9 decades of fruitfulness.

U.S.A Today suggests that the little prince's elegance may have come directly from his late grandmother, the great Princess Diana, and he might have obtained some of Robert Downey Jr.'s charm.

The photo shoot took place last year in the Buckingham Palace's White Drawing Room but the image was only revealed on Tuesday, as part of the celebrations.

Ranald Mackechnie took the picture and while the elder royals looked all too professional in their formal suits, Prince George sported a white button-down shirt with blue linings, dark blue short pants, and his signature knee-high socks.

Since he's still obviously too small compared to his elders, the prince stood on a stack of blue and black foam blocks. As he beamed with joy at the camera, he held on to his father's hand.

Along with the picture featuring the Queen and her royal successors, there are also six other stamps that were produced in honor of Her Majesty's life. One of them sees Queen Elizabeth II with her father, King George VI, while another looks back on her life as a young mother.

People says this is the first time Kate Middleton and Prince William's son has been featured on a British stamp. The first-class stamps cost 54 pence or 79 cents each and are now available for purchase from 8,000 Post Offices around the United Kingdom.
